I don't know whether I should say this, but I work for the company who draws up the fixture list. Not that I can influence anything or have any insider info, I'm going for home against Spurs.

I was under the impression that the FA licenses Football Dataco Ltd (basically one man) to compile the fixture list and then see to it's ammendments???

Are you saying a "company" now compiles the fixtures?

No it hasn't changed. It's just one man and his computer that sort the fixtures out.

This was a good read.

During this time the main man in the process - Glenn Thompson of Atos Origin, an international IT services company, - starts the process he describes as sequencing.

For most of the year Glenn works as an IT professional in Scotland but he has been compiling the fixtures since the 1993-94 season and describes the task both as an enormous puzzle and his summer job. He is the man who owns the laptop that is the fixture computer.

As was said, basically one man and a laptop.

:LMAO:

There's always one Bu**pooer on a forum who claims to know here's one i stumbled upon.

Arsenal v West Ham Utd
Birmingham v Chelsea
Blackburn v Sunderland
Bolton v Manchester United
Fulham v Everton
Manchester City v Blackpool
Liverpool v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Newcastle United v Wigan Athletic
Stoke City v Aston Villa
West Bromwich Albion v Tottenham Hotspur

as i say bs because i'm sure that many teams from the north-west can't all be at home like that

Plus none of the promoted teams are playing any of the top 3, at least one of them should be playing Chelsea/Man Utd/Arsenal. I think it will be Blackpool to be honest this time.
